The Artery is an Auckland event where up-and-coming artists and sculptors can exhibit their work. Our first exhibition is at 11 am Sunday 3 December 2017 in a residential home in St. Heliers, Auckland where rising stars and first-time exhibitors can show their work. Contact Christine via the details below. Paintings, sculpture, drawings and photography are acceptable. Works on paper are best framed. You can sell your work or simply display it for comment. Art shown above by A F Woolliams, Rotorua For beginning painters and artists the availability of exhibition space, the confidence to take on a solo exhibition and the ability
to produce enough work for one date are often challenging.
This event provides a chance to take the easier way out, show one or two works for a fraction of the cost and share the spotlight with others.
We'll provide a curator who can critique the works.
Large/small sites available to hang work inside. Large garden lends itself to sculpture and other outdoor works. Refreshments available. contact CHRISTINE HOBBS 021740474 158ideas@gmail.com The beneficiary of the event for 2017 is Race4Life Trust, an Auckland-based Trust begun in 2015 that aims to enable adults throughout New Zealand, living with life limiting illness, to realize dreams that they and their families can cherish. The Trust's mission is to provide people with the means to fulfill their wishes.
